Advanced Solar Energy Systems
COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course provides participants with a strong foundational understanding of solar energy systems, progressing from core principles to advanced concepts in system design and installation. Special emphasis is placed on grid‑tied solar solutions—an emerging and rapidly developing area within our national energy landscape.
Participants will gain the technical competencies required to install, troubleshoot, and maintain solar photovoltaic systems in accordance with industry standards. Additionally, the course offers guidance on the entrepreneurial aspects of the solar sector, equipping learners with the knowledge needed to establish and operate their own business as a solar equipment supplier or installation service provider
COURSE OBJECTIVES
Module 1: Advanced Topics in Solar Systems Design
Objective:
Provide learners with an advanced understanding of solar system design principles, enabling them to plan and configure efficient and reliable photovoltaic installations.

Introduce participants to the operation, requirements, and safety considerations of grid‑connected solar systems, preparing them to work confidently with modern grid‑integrated technologies.

This course will be assessed based on 100% continuous assessments employing exams and practical components.
