COURSE DESCRIPTION

This course introduces the basics of understanding and interpreting words which is critical to reading, reading is essential to all processes in the workplace.

This course introduces Literal comprehension which occurs at the surface level when a reader/viewer acknowledges what they can see and hear. The details are stated and clear for anyone to identify. Literal comprehension is often referred to as 'on the page' or 'right there' comprehension. This is the simplest form of comprehension.

After learning about the basics of words, it is necessary to understand how we combine them. In this course you will learn 
how to put together the structure of paragraphs. Further, you will learn how to ensure your paragraphs should be developed to relay your main idea and supporting information.

This course introduces inference while reading, your're making a guess about what do don't know based on the information available - basically, you're reading between the lines. You can use your prior knowledge and textual information to draw conclusions, make critical judgements, and form interpretations of the text.

This course utilises all the skills throughout the course and replays them to the three aspects of reading. this course further applies these skills to Mathematics, detailing a series of steps to the solve problems.
