COURSE DESCRIPTION

In this course, you will be learn the basics of mathematics, you will learn and focus on whole number concepts and computation.

You will learn that fractions are some of the most essential math in our homes. Students will learn about fractions as part of a whole, equivalent fractions, and how to put that knowledge to use in everyday life.

You will learn what a decimal is and how to use it in mathematical applications. We will also add, subtract, multiply, divide and calculate percentages with decimals.

You will learn the structure of the real number system. This course examines symbolic representations in solving real-world problems. Linear, quadratic, systems of equations and problem-solving are investigated.
